About Us

Loving Insurance Agency began in 1982 when Dean Loving sold his first crop hail coverage policy from his office in the Texaco station he owned in Seymour, Texas for many years.

Needing more space as the business grew, he first moved the office to the Cooper Building, then to the Washington St. Mall in 1984. At this time, wife Bobbie Bartos Loving joined him in the agency as he expanded by adding life, health and annuities to his rural America, Modern Woodmen of America insurance services.

Now 30 years in business, agency owners Dean and Bobbie Loving are life-long fixtures in Seymour, having been born here, attended elementary and high school here and have made their home here.

Similarly, the Loving children, Deana Dalton and Tommy Loving, are committed to Seymour and have joined the Agency to continue their parents' strong ties to the city and neighbors.

Deana Loving In 2001, Deana began working in the agency resulting in more growth and the addition of Allstate Insurance to their lines of coverage. Again needing more space, in 2002 the Loving Agency moved into a new office at 222 North Washington Street.

Still providing the personable service for which they had become known, Tommy Loving joined the agency in 2006 and his wife, Jennifer soon thereafter in 2007.

Loving Insurance offers Germania, Travelers, St. Paul, Republic, C.N.A. Stroud, Beacon Armtech and many other A+ rated companies writing, multi-peril and crop hail, health, medicare supplements, life, long term care, cancer, annuities and property and casualty insurance.
